Donald Trump, the American politician, media personality, and businessman, served as the 45th president of the United States from 2017 to 2021.
He lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden, but refused to concede defeat.
The then falsely claimed a widespread electoral fraud, and attempted to overturn the results by pressuring government officials, mounting scores of unsuccessful legal challenges, and obstructing the presidential transition. These all cultimated on January 6, 2021, when he urged his supporters to march to the U.S. Capitol, which many of them then attacked, resulting in multiple deaths and interrupting the electoral vote count.
Since then, things generally don't look good for the former President, because Trump is the only American president to have been impeached twice, and that a Manhattan grand jury indicted him on a number felony counts of falsifying business records.
Trump pleaded not guilty, and again, things get worse.

Donald Trump has his own social media platform, the one he created to be his replacement of Twitter, where he got banned.
Despite Elon Musk's acquisition of the company, which was later renamed to X, allowed Trump to return, he still considers using his Truth social media.
There, he has the freedom he ever need to speak whatever he wants.
His platform, his rules.
This is where it's said that he's making threats.
“If you go after me, I’m coming after you!” Trump in all capital letters in an August 5th post on Truth Social.
Because of this, in a court filing, Senior Assistant Special Counsels Molly Gaston and Thomas Windom called a judge’s attention to a social media post from Trump, which was issued hours earlier, in which they said that Trump appeared to declare that he’s "coming after" those he sees as responsible for the series of formidable legal challenges he is facing.
Attorneys from special counsel Jack Smith’s team said the post from Trump's social media "specifically or by implication" referenced those involved in his criminal case for seeking to subvert the 2020 election.
Smith argued that Trump’s case needs a strict order to prevent Trump from mentioning details from discovery documents and evidence in public, worrying that the former president would use evidence to target witnesses.
The special counsel sought a protective order, citing the threats that Trump made while out on bail.

In response, Donald Trump pleaded not guilty in a federal courthouse in Washington, DC, to criminal charges related to special counsel Jack Smith's investigation into attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
"This is a very sad day for America," said Trump while giving brief remarks before boarding his plane to return to New Jersey, calling the recent indictment "a persecution of a political opponent."
The four counts against Trump are conspiracy to defraud the United States; conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding; obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding; and conspiracy against rights.
It's worth noting that this is the third time Trump has been criminally indicted.
Trump, who is running for president in 2024, has repeatedly denied wrongdoing and accused Democrats of targeting him politically.
What's worth noting here, Trump's Truth Social post made no specific reference to any witnesses or court personnel. However, Trump has often used his social media megaphone to attack anyone he dislikesm including prosecutors and judges.
