Bringing Up Past Internet Porn Acts Is 'An Illegal Invasion Of My Privacy,' Said A Virginia Democratic Candidate

A couple doing sex acts is entirely normal. After all, people engage in sexual intercourse not only for reproduction, because the activity is also for sexual pleasure and emotional pleasure. Sex can be contributed to human bonding.

And when the couple does it for "tips" from the internet, even that is also normal in the modern society that is already drawn to internet content.

In the U.S., as long as the acts are done within the couple's consent, involve no minors and have no violence, it's safe to say that being nude and having sex for public consumption through the internet is generally fine.

But for someone who wishes to run for a political office, having performed sex acts on the internet is certainly not a good example, and may affect the person's credibility and electability.

This is what exactly happened to Susanna Gibson.

If politicians have the tendencies to push society’s sexual boundaries to a different level, Gibson is definitely brewing quite a scandal in the Virginia House district race.

This happened after Gibson, who is in 2023 is a 40-year-old nurse practitioner and a mother of two, caught herself in an allegation, where it's said that she and her husband had engaged in sexually explicit livestreams in exchange for "tips" on a publicly accessible website.

According to the leaked videos, Gibson and her husband recorded their sex activities on camera, including intercourse in various positions, fellatio, cunnilingus, and anal play.

There are also close ups of Gibson's shaved genitalia as well as her rear, a scene where she is bathing, playing with a sex toy, and more.

While the original videos have been removed, the fact about the internet is that, it never forgets.

Once a content is put on the web, it will be there forever.

In Gibson's case, the videos she uploaded were removed from Chaturbate, and that her 5,000+ fans couldn't see them anymore.

However, the videos were later archived elsewhere, and that following the news, they are high on demand.

Gibson's attorney argued that sharing these videos violated Virginia's revenge porn law, it's evident that this situation has caused a significant stir in the political arena.

Due to the sexual content, Gibson is getting herself in a difficult situation, as she faces Republican David Owen in the 57th District in the Virginia House of Delegates.

For her, the stakes are high, as the outcome of this race could have significant implications for the balance of power in the Virginia General Assembly.

This revelation certainly created an undoubtedly sensitive issue into what is already a competitive race.

Because of this, Gibson strongly denounced reports suggesting that she and her husband were involved in explicit activities on the web.

She responded strongly, characterizing this revelation as an illegal invasion of her privacy and an attempt to silence her.

Gibson deliberately refused to drop out of the race despite being outed as an online porn star.

She believes that her political opponents are resorting to extreme tactics to undermine her campaign.

"This is an illegal invasion of my privacy designed to humiliate me and my family. It won’t intimidate me and it won’t silence me," she said in a statement.

"My political opponents and their Republican allies have proven they’re willing to commit a sex crime to attack me and my family because there’s no line they won’t cross to silence women when they speak up."

It's worth noting that Gibson did what she did, to earn additional "tokens."

By performing in "private" shows, she claimed to be "raising money for a good cause."

In all, the nurse practitioner had more than a dozen of live romps with her husband on the internet.

During her campaign, Gibson made several points, and among others, include her intention to keep taxes low in Virginia.

"Virginians are struggling to keep up with rising costs. We only have to go to fill up our cars or buy our weekly groceries at the supermarket to know that it’s still hard to make ends meet. These rising costs mean that it is harder to start a family, buy a home, or start a new business," she stated

"I want to keep taxes low, lower the cost of living, and put more money back in the pockets of Henrico and Goochland residents. I want to see wage increases so that families can not only afford to pay their bills and feed their families but so that they can thrive." she continued.

She also spoke about her intention to deal with issues surrounding people's rights.

"It’s hard to believe that we are even having a discussion about the fundamental rights of human beings based on who they love or how they identify," she said.

“As a healthcare professional, I’m well aware of the fact that if you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community, you’re more likely to have considered or attempted suicide, be a victim of violent crime, or be discriminated against when seeking care,” she added.
