When is too much is too much?

The answer varies from one person to another, from one occasion to the next. It all depends on the context, and the topic being debated.

The concept of "too much" is subjective. What feels excessive to one person might be perfectly acceptable or even necessary to another, depending on their values, experiences, and the specific situation.

And Dalgeun Yu had enough.

The South Korean special forces assaulted the controversial YouTuber Johnny Somali, shortly after exiting a building.

And instead of harsh comments South Korean netizens are known for giving, Dalgeun Yu receives their appraisal.

In fact, the global internet literally applauded.

Dalgeun Yu is a former Underwater Demolition Team, a South Korean equivalent to the U.S. Navy SEAL.

Yu punched Somali, and posted it on his social media account. He said that he did what he did on behalf of all South Koreans.

The person he assaulted, was the Johnny Somali, whose real name is Ramsey Khalid Ismael.

For almost all of his streaming career, Somali is known for being a content creator for the wrong reasons, thanks to his infamous troubles he created on purpose while traveling the world.

The American citizen has previously terrorized Japan, where he made anti-Japanese taunts towards locals, which include comments about the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

He even claimed the U.S. would "destroy, because you don’t know how to behave."

After that, he went to Israel, and among the things he did, was traveling to Western Wall in Jerusalem, and filmed himself attaching images of Harvey Weinstein, Adin Ross, and Jeffrey Epstein to the wall, proclaiming Weinstein as one of his "top Jews" and making insulting remarks towards Ross.

He was detained at a protest in Tel Aviv for sexual harassment he made towards a female police officer.

Somali then went to South Korea.

There, in the Land of Ginseng, he wasted no time before causing havoc by first threatening to slap a BTS member, and later kissed and performed lap dances on the Statue of Peace, which is a monument to victims of sexual slavery by Japanese troops during World War II.

He also loudly playing noises on the subway, including North Korean music, and speeches by Kim Jong Un.

More things he did, included buying ramyeon noodles and then purposefully poured it on a table in the dining area. After being confronted by the store owner and told to leave, Ismael proceeded to throw noodles at customers outside of the store.

Ismael made sexist comments towards the worker and attempted to assault him.

While the police couldn't do anything because Somali's stay was legal, citizens of South Korea weren't willing to take what Somali did lightly.

From a travel ban that prevents him from leaving South Korea, to additional charges that followed.

A lot of people in South Korea want to at least make Somali learn his lesson.

And what Yu "did what I had to do as a Korean citizen."

Dalgeun Yu, who is also a South Korean YouTuber, confronted Ismael after a dispute in an elevator, sparked by Ismael's actions involving the Statue of Peace.

As Ismael live-streamed, Yu recorded the encounter, speaking to Ismael in Korean.

At the time, Ismael mocked Yu during the exchange, but as he left the building and was about to cross the street, Yu struck him in the head.

Yu later shared the footage of the incident online, leading to his immediate arrest by South Korean police.

Defending his actions, Yu stated, "I couldn’t stand by while someone insulted the victims of history and our nation," describing his response as an effort to "defend national dignity."

Despite his intentions, Yu’s actions are legally classified as assault, as he chose to take matters into his own hands.

And because of his vigilante act, Yu is facing prison time.

Yu then proceeded by asking his followers to donate in order to help him with legal fees.
