Android is an open ecosystem, the mobile operating system powering many mobile devices in the world.
It can be sometimes confusing for new comers of Android, or even frustrating for old time users when they encounter some glitches, bugs or hiccups. After all, no product is perfect, and this is why consumers must know the answer to their problems first hand whenever they see one.
Android may not have a thorough walkthrough or tutorial as extensive as Apple, considering that there are a lot of phones powered by Android of different flavors, but Google here wants to help.
With the #AndroidHelp Twitter hashtag, Google starts offering tech support to Android smartphone owners through it.
The idea is simple: Twitter users can tweet a question with the hashtag, and they will get the tech support directly from the official @android Twitter account.
Have questions related to your #Android ? We’re here to help. Now, you can get assistance by tweeting your issue using hashtag #AndroidHelp.

According to the official AndroidOSSupport account on Reddit, Android users can get help with the following topics by posting with the hashtag:
- General troubleshooting.
- Identity and Authentication.
- Accessibility.
- Security.
- And many other Android features.
The idea of putting a help hashtag on Twitter should be a great idea, considering that the platform is known for quick shout out and replies.
But it may cause Google some problems though.
First of all, it may prove difficult to find any legitimate questions that the official Android team can actually help with. And second, with so many questions they need to deal with, not considering Twitter trolls that always love to mess around, Google and its Android team may focus on questions that relate to Google's own phones and stock Android, and not questions particular to an Android smartphone brand.
Still, this shows how Google is taking concrete steps to improve their customer relations.
